About Us: Sammy, Lynn & Nelson, too!
After selecting to be born unto future parents Wild Bill & Jigidy, Sammy arrived on Earth in 1979 via Ocean Springs, MS, remaining there through the teen years. At 12 and during the first Gulf War swindle, he dabbled in public speaking and shared the stage with Trent Lott and Thad Cochran (now US Senators and esteemed criminals).
10 years as a catcher was all HoneyLamb could give on the diamond, and at 17 his musical evolution commenced. Mobile, AL and Savannah, GA were home to SamDingo through his 20s and crucial to the guitarist's growth. A self-deployment at 30 sent Sammy to SF to see a city about a girl.
Lynn Lackey was born in Savannah, Georgia, came of age in New York City and reluctantly moved to San Francisco in 2005. It took a few years, but the Bay Area now feels like home!
From film and photography to culture and travel to building brands, Lynn loves a great story, learning, meeting new people, and creating meaningful experiences.
Friends for about a year, our story truly began on a stormy Saturday, March 15, 2008. Sammy's second song was an unexpected dedication "For Lynn" and then, a power outage ended the show.
Our hearts ajar, we crossed the country for two years before Sammy & Nelson moved to San Francisco. We're excited to celebrate our story with you seven years to the date of that stormy night!
